?Early this morning, while I was looking up more information online about the HP tablets and fate of its PC market, I came across news about a very dear name to my heart, Steve Jobs. ?The headline caught my attention, "Steve Jobs Resigned Apple as CEO." ?
I checked the dates of the news articles, and they were dated Auguest 24th. ?"Oh wow, that is today!" ?I said to myself. ?I worked right through the night from Wednesdasy the 24th to this morning the 25th. ?As I read the various articles (all saying basically the same thing), I realized, the articles are no joke.? They are real. ?Steve Jobs indeed has resigned on August 24th. ?He handed his resignation letter?at their Board meeting on the 24th. Apple quickly posted their press release at Apple.com:??Apple's Official Press Release of Steve Jobs resignation.
Steve, you will be missed as the CEO of Apple in the news and on official papers, but you are always live in our heart as the Apple CEO, right from the start.? ?It was early in the 1980s when I took computer classes learning the COBOL language, that I was introduced to Apple, then called?Macintosh, later called Mac. ?From there, history rolled forward to today.?

Here are videos found on YouTube worth a watch to me:?
Steve Jobs' 2005 Standford Commencement speech, talked about dropping out of college and he shared three stories of his life.? First story was abut reconnecting the dots. ?The second story was about love and loss. ?He said, "Sometimes life can hit you over the head with a brick. ?Don't lose faith." (at minute 08:11) ?He continued, "Do what you believe in." ?The third story was about the end. ?What he would do if this is the last day of his life. ?Watch and listen to this video. ?You'll ?learn awesome tips from a leader who came, who fell, who got back up, and now, is moving on again. ?
At this moment, as I type here, this YouTube video has?4,791,119 views. ? Near the?end of this 15 minute video (at minute 12:30), Steve closes the commencement speech with advising the graduates that their time is limited, so don't live someone else's life. ?Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living the results of other people's thinking. ?Don't let the noise of the opinion of others drown out your own inner voice. ?And most important - have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. ?Somehow you already know what you trully want to become. ?Everything else is secondary.

Enjoy it all. ?Looks like we went back in time here with our videos, so be it. ?Steve Jobs deserves it all, all that he has created, my idol, from the early days to now. ?
Be well, Steve. ??
