Getting started online with an Internet business is not difficult, but you must have a direction and training if they want to succeed. It took me about a year to make money when I first came online in 2005, and it was because I was trying to do it myself. Once I started working with a mentor, put some systems in place, and began to serve a main niche, which is when I began to earn money and feel like a real entrepreneur.
It took me almost two years to find a mentor to help me succeed. Along the way they spent thousands of dollars to people who claim that the online mentors. Each of them is still learning to make a living online, which means that they have changed their formation often, and finally just had to tell people that had no answers to questions that were asked. I was determined not to be the kind of mentor, so I continued to learn and grow to better serve those who come to me for marketing training. Make sure the person you are working and learning enough to know that teaches you started.
Putting my systems in place was a big step for me and will for you too. Now I am able to travel every month without having to think about my business. What you think are the people who are part of my business, that is, my students and others on my list. Take time to learn how to configure your shopping cart, your autoresponders, and its products. Also I have several membership sites, so make sure it is configured as a niche well.
Choosing is a big step for everyone. Let me find my place, which happens to be the best way to do it. Learn all you can, start blogging, listening to teleseminars and other training, and engage with social media. Soon you?ll realize what you do online, and then everyone will gather for you. For me, realizing that people wanted me to learn the technology was great. I was taking what I knew of course, and it turned out that I was able to build a whole business around something that was fun for me.
