One of the benefits of home ownership is taking an interest deduction paid on mortgages on primary, secondary or vacation homes.
I video tapped this several months ago and didn?t post this video because I was under the impression that Washington realized taking this real estate benefit away would be disastrous at this time, but it looks like they are at it again.
Yes, the government has been looking at reducing or taking away your homeowner mortgage interest tax deduction that all of us have been taking off our taxes for years. ?With all the issues we have in real estate throughout the country, it hardly seems like this is a time to mess with real estate. ?The National Association of Realtors?? is fighting this and whether or not you agree or disagree removing this interest rate deduction, now is not the time to hit real estate again.
