When Haley Reinhart sang the line "So stick around, you're gonna hear electric music" from "Bennie and the Jets," she had no doubt in her mind that she would be doing just that ? sticking around.

But after her long run on American Idol, the Chicago native, who had wound up in the bottom three four times this season, was eliminated on Wednesday night.

"I accepted it very quickly and took it with a grain of salt," says the singer, who adds that she's looking forward to "letting loose" on the Idol concert tour because she won't have to worry about being judged.

"I don't regret anything," says Reinhart. "I got a chance to show versatility and I was proud to do that. I wouldn't trade that in for the world."

One thing Reinhart, 20, does wish she'd had a chance to show more of was her goofy personality. "Usually I'm bubbly and joking around," she says. "It's hard to get that all out and show everybody who you are in a minute and a half."

Hidden quirks aside, judge Steven Tyler seemed to be in her corner most of the time.

"Steven really helped me out and made me feel good about my performances," says Reinhart, who was often a target for the judges and says they seemed to really want to "push my buttons."

A classic rock lover, Reinhart says working with Tyler on her solo album would be "fantastic," as would jamming with Sheryl Crow, Corinne Bailey Rae or Esperanza Spaulding. "I would love to do a sultry bluesy rock album and slip jazz in there somehow," she says.

And though she won't tell who she thinks will be the big Idol winner in next week's youngest final ever, Reinhart says remaining contestants Lauren Alaina, 16, and Scotty McCreery, 17, are, "so cute and have country calling for them. It's a close one!"

2010 was a year of amazing accomplishments for the real estate staging industry. The Real Estate Staging Association? (RESA?) continues to hit new strides and raise the bar of professionalism and legitimacy in our industry by combining unity, ethics and camaraderie among professional stagers throughout North America.
RESA? has many facets; this includes responsibilities to the professional stagers, consumers, and real estate agents.
Consumers and Real Estate Agents
RESA? released statistics on the benefits of home staging in February 2010. We did a study of 127 homes previously on the market on average 263 days, when the homeowners gave up and decided to call in a professional home stager. Those same homes were staged, relisted and sold on average in 60 days after staging. This is 78% less time on the market. We also studied 284 homes that were staged first, and then put on the market and those homes sold in 40.5 days after staging.
In April of 2011 we released a report that has consistent findings with our 2010 report. We studied 97 homes previously on the market on average 181 days before the homeowners gave up trying to sell on their own and called in a professional home stager. Those same homes were staged, relisted and sold on average in 60 days after staging. This is 67 % less time on the market. We also studied 182 homes that were staged first, and then put on the market and those homes sold in 35 days after staging.
Our study proves it does not benefit the homeowner to list their property first to see if it will sell. When they invest in staging first, they sell 85% faster, than they would have if they test the waters by listing without staging.
RESA? has also released The Consumer?s Guide to Real Estate Staging. This printed report is another to explain home staging to home sellers. Stagers and agents also use this tool to help explain home staging to their clients.
The Consumer?s Guide to Real Estate Staging printed report was so well received we decided to create a DVD with the same name. This is one of our accomplishments I am most proud of. The DVD is an amazing tool that stagers and agents give to home sellers to explain home staging. . It?s professionally done and very well received.
RESA? is also committed to people wanting to start a home staging business. Choosing the right training provider is crucial in order to give yourself the best chance possible to create a successful business. Knowing which provider to choose can prove to be challenging and time consuming weeding through hours of research, comparing schools.
To solve this issue RESA? has started an accreditation program for home staging training providers. Jimmie Dale Gilmore's album Heirloom Music was released on May 10. This interview was originally broadcast on March 9, 2011.

"His voice would make even Hank Williams cry," Nicholas Dawidoff once wrote of Jimmie Dale Gilmore in The New York Times Magazine.

Gilmore, a singer from West Texas, writes songs that would be described as alternative country. But for his forthcoming album, Heirloom Music ? in which Gilmore teams up with the band The Wronglers ? he says he was thinking more in terms of bluegrass music ? although that's not an exact description.

"We were calling it old-timey music, but that still wasn't quite accurate," he says. "But [bluegrass musician and investor] Warren Hellman had said that someone had referred to this sort of music as 'heirloom music,' and I loved that phrase. There's something dismissive about [the term 'old-timey'] and our point is that this music is old, but it's really good and really still pertinent."

This is Gilmore's second album in a row that has explored older songs. From 2005, Come on Back was a tribute to his late father, featuring honky-tonk classics from the 1960s. But Heirloom Moments travels back even farther than that, to the 1930s and '40s ? music recorded before Gilmore was born.

"This is music that I discovered because I became interested in where the music that I was in love with as a kid came from," he says. "I'm not a folklorist. I'm not a scholar in it. But I did become curious with a lot of it. I've been doing these songs for 30 or 40 years now, and never really had the context to record them in."

One of the tracks on Heirloom Music is an old Charlie Poole song called "Leaving Home." Gilmore says he originally learned it from the New Lost City Ramblers, an old-time string band specializing in folk music from the 1920s and '30s.

"I just fell in love with the song because it's just so peculiar and quirky," he says. "And as a result of that, I looked further into it and it caused me to discover some of that really old stuff and their source material."

Gilmore performed some of his new songs and some older ones at the 2011 South by Southwest music festival in Austin, his hometown for many years. He says the festival has helped put the city's music scene on the map.

"In the early days in Austin, there was a great music scene here, but it wasn't part of the reputation of Austin," he says. "I think South by Southwest has made it a public fact and a publicly recognized fact that there's so much great music in Austin."

"I went for a couple of years and I studied a couple of things pretty intensely, but I never did get a degree. I made really good grades in philosophy and anthropology, but I was already beginning to spend too much time in the nightlife ? the honky tonks and the bootleg joints. Lubbock until recently was dry. And Lubbock's a fairly large town; it's close to 100,000 people. It was dry, so any of the nightlife that involved alcohol was illegal."

"Not only was it illegal for us to be there at the age we were. There were no age restrictions, because the entire thing was illegal. And I lived in these two different worlds at the time. I had a lot of intellectual and creative friends ? musicians and artists and writers; sort of university types of people. And then I had this other group of friends, because of that music nightlife stuff, who were professional gamblers. And I hung out with them a lot. I couldn't play cards. I was terrible. But I played music and I took requests from them. That's how I grew a lot of my repertoire."

On The Convergence Of Beatniks, Hippies And Honky-Tonk Fans In His Life

"There came to be this convergence of these groups of people. The intellectual crowd [I hung out with] were also music lovers and nightlife people, some of them. And the honky-tonk people and the young hippie people ? my music was from the honky-tonk world, but I was more on the borderland between the beatniks and the hippies. I always had a schizophrenic feeling about my social position. I was so much into country music, and most of my friends weren't. They only liked Top 40 kind of stuff. I read this thing by Ezra Pound where he said, 'The poem fails when it strays too far from the song, and the song fails when it strays too far from the dance.' I loved that, and for some reason, that had the effect of bringing my two worlds together in my own head ? that honky-tonk music was dance music, and so it was almost like Ezra Pound giving the intellectuals' endorsement to this low-brow type of music."

A secret document recently released by WikiLeaks reveals a high level US ambassador promoting a merger of the United States, Canada, and Mexico into one combined consumer and labor market, with a common currency and a mutual electronic security perimeter with less focus on physical borders.

The secret documents reveal a well developed plan that advocates secrecy, an incremental approach as not to alarm the public. The document clearly states, that the plan is to prevent US efforts to protect citizens from terrorism or disease from interfering with commerce and other financial interests. The documents also advocate that promotion of this plan focus on ?individual firms, industries or travelers, and
especially consumers? instead of the nations as a whole.

This high level leak appears to validate earlier concerns by many groups of plans to create a new government, which would supersede the sovereignty of America, Canada, and Mexico in a way similar to the European Union. Critics of these merger plans call the plan the North American Union. Supporters of the plan call it the North American Community or North American Integration (NAI).

?It is conspiracy, but it is no theory,? said William Gheen of ALIPAC. ?These traitors are trying to conceal their plans, but they are out in the open now. They are trying to force an economic union on America that is not ratified by the US Congress, not authorized by the US Constitution, and not approved of by the American public. This plan is being facilitated by the nonenforcement of our existing immigration and border laws.?

Americans were shocked to learn in 2005 and 2006 that millions of illegal aliens had been imported into America and were now marching in the streets demanding legalization, citizenship, voting rights, and taxpayer resources. Federal lawmakers loyal to the North American Integration plans have claimed ?our immigration systems are broken? when in fact the immigration systems have been compromised by those advocating a merger of the populations of America, Mexico, and Canada.

Other examples of this economic union plan which has been pursued by Presidents Bush and Obama, can be found in the writings of Dr. Robert Pastor of American University, in releases by the Council on Foreign Relations such as ?Building a North American Community,? and in announcements made by heads of state in all three countries supporting the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP).

?North American integration requires American disintegration. Americans would never voluntarily enter into this devilish arrangement that would disintegrate the United States beneath a larger super state; and a new government which would destroy the existing US Constitution and borders,? said William Gheen. ?This is why these elite banking, business, and political influences are flooding America with rampant illegal immigration and hyper legal immigration. They are conquering the freedom-loving innocent citizens of America by bringing in outsiders who will replace us incrementally in our jobs and homes.?
